Virtudesk Mock Interview Transcript

Elias: Hello, my name is Elias and I'm with Virtudesk. How are you doing today, Migs?

Migs: I'm very good. Nice meeting you.

Elias: Yeah. Nice meeting you as well. Uh, look, I'm looking forward to hearing a little bit more about your background. It looks like you are a podcast virtual assistant, correct?

Migs: Correct. And actually I've been a podcast virtual assistant for three months now and I was working on editing and distributing audio content to multiple platforms.

Elias: Yeah. Okay. Um, could you tell me a little bit more about your experience in managing podcasts as a virtual assistant?

Migs: Managing podcasts is not difficult. When you manage a podcast, you need to have listeners that can go to your clients, your guests, and also your listeners.

Elias: How can a podcast virtual assistant help grow my business?

Migs: Podcast connects you to who your business is selling to. For example, your customers and anyone who listens to your podcast. This communication and regular engagement, that in part, helps to develop a dedicated community around your business.

Elias: Are there different tools that you'll use? What are different podcasts tools that you will use to kind of help me out?

Migs: What I'm using is Adobe Audition.

Elias: How are you able to distribute your audio to different platforms?

Migs: We’re using Simple Cast to distribute our audio into multiple platforms. With that, we can distribute that through Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Amazon, and also Spotify. The most recent one.

Elias: It looks like a lot of different opportunities. And I like to hear that. Look, could you give me any tips and tricks for creating a podcast just in general?

Migs: One is of course your podcast must be interesting and engaging. Number two, we should have at least three to five minutes of your audio. And number three, you should have at least 10 episodes to come up with before you publish your podcasts live. The reason behind that is if the listeners want to listen to another episode of your podcast, they will not miss it while you're creating one for the next two weeks.

Elias: I really appreciate you kind of giving me, telling me a little bit more about your background and how you're able to take care of everything. Migs, I don't have any other questions at this time. I just want to say thank you for taking the time to speak with me today and answering my questions.

Migs: Thank you for having me here, Elias. Have a great one, Elias.

Elias:  Bye bye. Have a good day.

We hired a VA because we needed help on recruiting for agents and I am very satisfied with my Virtual Assistant. The experience with Virtudesk is really good and I am really really happy.

One of the reasons why we hire a Virtual Assistant is because a VA can’t walk out my door and take my business. Second, the cost value and the third is, we just had a super well qualified hardworking admin – I am very satisfied with my VA. We are also constantly getting follow-ups to ensure that we are very satisfied.
